Fotomenininkai Levas Žiriakovas ir Šabari pristato analoginės fotografijos parodą, sukurtą piligriminės kelionės po Indiją metu. Ekspoziciją apžiūrėti galėsite rugpjūčio 11–28 d. Ąžuolyno bibliotekos Galerijoje (Radastų g. 2, 4 a.), o uždarymas ir ekskursija po parodą su autoriais vyks rugpjūčio 28 d. 17.30 val.
„Vande Mataram“ (liet. „Lenkiuosi Tau, o Motina“) – ankstyvą rytą Varanasio stotyje išgirsta daina, tapusi atspirties tašku bendram projektui, dedikuotam šaliai, kuri taip dosniai priima ir apdovanoja dvasios keliautojus.
Paroda – padėka. Paroda – atnašas. Nesibaigiančios traukos ir meilės Indijai, jos dvasinėms tradicijoms išraiška. Čia išvysite Delio sodus, Varanasio švytėjimą, architektūrą, gamtos didingumą ir žmonių šurmulį. Gilesnis, amžinas, po visais vaizdais slypintis sluoksnis – ryšio su dieviškumu gyva patirtis.
Parodoje pristatomi originalūs 24×30 cm rankų darbo sidabro želatinos atspaudai. Anot L. Žiriakovo, nors panašų rezultatą įmanoma išgauti ir pasitelkus šiuolaikines, skaitmenines technologijas, jam itin svarbu kiekvieną fotografiją atspausti būtent savo rankomis. Jis tiki, kad analoginės nuotraukos yra geriau apgalvotos, daiktiškesnės, reikalauja didesnio susikaupimo.
Renginio metu bus fotografuojama ir / ar filmuojama, todėl jūs galite būti matomi renginio nuotraukose ar vaizdo įrašuose, kurie gali būti paskelbti įvairiose medijos priemonėse.

Photographers Levas Žiriakovas and Šabari present an analogue photography exhibition created during a pilgrimage through India. The exhibition will be open to the public from August 11 to 28 at the Oak Grove Library Gallery (Radastų st. 2, 4th floor), and the closing and tour of the exhibition with the authors will take place on August 28 at 5.30 pm.
Vande Mataram (“I bow to you, O Mother”) – a song heard one early morning at the railway station in Varanasi – became the starting point for this collaborative project, dedicated to a country that welcomes and enriches spiritual travelers so generously.
Here you will see the gardens of Delhi, the glow of Varanasi, the architecture, the grandeur of nature and the bustle of people. A deeper, eternal layer, hidden beneath all the images, is the living experience of connection with the divine.
The exhibition presents original 24×30 cm handmade gelatin silver prints. According to L. Žiriakovas, although a similar result can be achieved using modern, digital technologies, it is extremely important to him to develop each photograph with his own hands. He believes that analogue photography is more thoughtful, more tangible, and require greater concentration.
