Project SILVER
SILVER aims to strengthen social inclusion and the wellbeing of senior citizens and migrants through the implementation of workshops combining reading clubs and photowalks. For senior, SILVER combats social isolation and stimulates mobility and cognitive functions by encouraging participation in group activities. For migrants, SILVER offers a safe space to learn the local language, discover the culture and create social interactions that encourage intercultural dialogue.
It has been funded by the Lithuanian national agency of the Erasmus Plus programme.
On October 6th, the partners met online to officially kick off the project and discuss the first steps of its implementation. The meeting marked the beginning of the development of the SILVER training curriculum, which will equip adult educators with the knowledge and practical tools needed to implement book clubs and photowalks.
