The newly refurbished Oak Grove Library now features three distinct event spaces tailored to diverse needs: the Star Hall (capacity: 142), the Oak Hall (capacity: 50), and the Gallery. While primarily utilized for open events organized by the Library, these rooms are also available for rental—rates and contact details can be found under Space Rental.
Event Space
Star Hall
This 142-seat main event room of the Library features an ambiance that transports you to a serene space beneath a starlit August night sky, immersing you dreamily in the proceedings. Conveniently located on the 1st floor for easy access by all age groups, the hall hosts a variety of events, concerts, and film screenings.It includes a specially installed 6-meter-wide screen and is equipped with modern sound and lighting systems, ensuring an enchanting cultural experience for all attendees.
Oak Hall
A 50-seat chamber event and meeting space, echoing the ambiance of Little Oak Park, where a subtle scent of oak infuses the air. Ideal for intimate gatherings, seminars, club activities, book presentations, lectures, small-scale concerts, or other events, providing visitors with a retreat for respite and inspiration.
Gallery
The Gallery, situated on the 4th floor of the Oak Grove Library, serves as a vibrant space where creators and art enthusiasts gather. With its expanded exhibition area, the Gallery offers enhanced opportunities for hosting a diverse range of personal, collective, thematic, and retrospective exhibitions, thereby enriching the cultural landscape of Kaunas and nurturing artistic talent. Equipped with a new hanging system for paintings, modern lighting, sculpture podiums, and video projection capabilities, the exhibition space provides a dynamic platform for showcasing artwork. The Oak Grove Library actively seeks to engage cultural and artistic professionals, both locally and internationally, fostering a collaborative environment between artists and library visitors.
