Consultations

Struggling to find information for a research paper? Lost in the maze of database searches? We invite you to take advantage of the opportunity to consult with the help of a librarian.

Visitors are provided with information on how to use search tools: catalogues, card catalogues, the library’s electronic catalogue, databases, bibliographies, reference works, etc. Consultations can be carried out individually or in groups, as well as guided tours to familiarise with the library’s collections, procedures for using the library, information retrieval, assistance in using Internet resources, and computer literacy issues.

The staff of the Oak Grove Library provides a bibliographic list or bibliographic index service, and a current service providing information of interest in the form of an overview and/or compiling a collection of factual material (a copy of documents or fragments of documents).
