The Lithuanian County Public Library Association, with funding from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania, is pleased to invite Ukrainian libraries and library professionals to apply for participation in six international professional training programmes to be held in Lithuania on June 1–5, 2026.
These programmes aim to strengthen professional competencies, promote institutional cooperation, and support the professional resilience and development of public library specialists.

Host Libraries & Locations
Participants will be invited to complete a 5-day programme at one of the following Lithuanian public libraries:

Kaunas County Public Oak Grove Library – Kaunas

Klaipėda County Ieva Simonaitytė Public Library – Klaipėda
-
Lithuanian Audiosensory Library – Vilnius
-
Panevėžys County Gabrielė Petkevičaitė-Bitė Public Library – Panevėžys
-
Šiauliai County Povilas Višinskis Public Library – Šiauliai
-
Vilnius County Adomas Mickevičius Public Library – Vilnius
The finalized programmes will be prepared according to the participant’s interests.
Financial Conditions
The organisers will provide:

Accommodation in LIthuania for all participants from May 31 to June 6, 2026.

Travel and per diem compensation up to €550 per participant, including:
-
€350 paid in advance;
-
Up to €200 reimbursed after completion of the programme.

Eligibility and Selection
-
Applications are open to public library specialists from across Ukraine.

As all activities will be conducted in English, priority will be given to applicants with at least B1-level English language proficiency.

Selection will be based on professional motivation, relevance of participation, and potential institutional impact.
