Short Project Description: The project “The Drawings That Accompanied Our Childhood: 100 Years of Albina Makūnaitė” seeks to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth and the 25th anniversary of the death of graphic artist and book illustrator Albina Makūnaitė by bringing renewed attention to her creative legacy and significance to Lithuanian culture. It also aims to encourage diverse groups within society to engage with graphic art and cultural heritage, while strengthening historical memory.
