Programme Description: The State Digital Solutions Agency, together with its partners—the association Langas į ateitį (“Window to the Future”) and the Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania—implements the project “Connected Lithuania: Development of Digital Skills”, project code No. 02-112-P-0001.

The aim of the project is to increase the digital skills of socially vulnerable and socially excluded residents, reduce the digital divide, and strengthen adults’ ability to fully use available digital solutions. The project seeks to create opportunities for residents to make greater use of electronic services, reduce digital exclusion, and encourage people living in remote areas, older adults, unemployed individuals, people with disabilities, and other groups who still do not use digital technologies—or whose skills in using them effectively are insufficient—to acquire or improve their digital skills.

Training sessions titled “Digital Skills: Public E-Services for Everyday Use” are organised at the library and are aimed at strengthening the digital competencies of socially vulnerable and socially excluded residents.

The project is funded by: the Economic Recovery and Resilience Plan “Next Generation Lithuania.”
