The international project “GENIE: Generative AI for Inclusive Education and Empowerment” begins

Genie

The Oak Grove Library is participating as a partner in a two-year international project, “GENIE: Generative AI for Inclusive Education and Empowerment”, which begins on October 1, 2024. The project aims to develop an innovative toolkit for adult learners and andragogue educators, helping them integrate generative AI into both professional and personal environments.

During the implementation period, newly developed learning methodologies and tools will be tested, andragogues’ competences will be enhanced, and adult learners’ knowledge of generative artificial intelligence will be expanded. We will invite adult education specialists from Kaunas region libraries and other organizations to take part in project activities.

The project is lead by Robotikos mokykla, project partners – Oak Grove Library (Ąžuolyno biblioteka), STEP Institute (Ljubljana, Slovenia), ISTITUTO FORMAZIONE OPERATORI AZIENDALI (IFOA) (Reggio Emilia, Italy), Eesti Vabaharidusliit (Tallinn, Estonia).
